The reputation earned by defeating a Merryman is divided up among the following factions:
- The Board of Marque 37%
- British East India Company 19%
- The British Royal Navy 37%
- The British Free Trade Union 7%
Trophy & Bounty[]
When encountered in groups of two or three on the open seas, there is a chance of encountering a Redistribution Vessel trophy ship which will drop a Trophy: Mask of Infamy. This trophy may be turned in to the Board of Marque Pirate Hunter in Port Royal.
The mission Merrymen Bounty may be obtained from the Pirate Hunter in Port Royal.
