The meeting between the two pirate groups will happen soon. Since they are wary of each other anyway, it is up to you to disrupt it by flying one of the group's colors and attacking the other group. Leave one of them alive to get back to his friends with a tale of deceit and betrayal.
Mission Notes
A massive ship fight - each of the enemy pirate groups has three level 5-12 ships as well as a level 16 leader. You will have the support of 6 NPC ships of level 5-12 as well. The Sharktooth Raiders and Dead Redcoats never got the memo that they're allied with each other now, so they'll mostly sink each other, leaving you to merely mop up whichever side wins between them.
As hinted in the mission description, there will actually be one extra ship which isn't mentioned in the mission objectives. Even though your journal states that one of the pirates has to survive (meaning that extra ship), killing it does not cause the mission to fail.
