I am still very new to using a Wiki, but I am a webdesigner by heart, and it pains me to see that the template and the text to the left of it are dead against each other. A bit of spacing between the box and the rest of the page would do nicely. However, I have no idea how to do this in a wiki. Can you set a margin-left on the template? --SuneR

You can add styling to templates so it should be possible. --Mopster 09:34, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
You are right this doesn't look that good in some cases. I've added 25 pixels of padding. What do you think? --Lord Alderaan 11:31, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Looks alot better - However, I think 15px would be enough. And now that we talk margins, a 10px margin-bottom would make a nice space below the society box and the categories box --SuneR 11:45, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to be such a pain, but when the box is aligned to the right, the h2 elements can be seen though the box (in Mozilla browsers at least). This can be fixed by added a background-color to the table/template - background-color: #fff; --Sykokaj 13:36, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you mean. I've worked with the template a lot. I try to keep an eye on changes and additions to the Society namespace and I haven't seen any such behavior in Fx2, Opera or IE7. The box shouldn't overlap anything and thus nothing should be visible through it. --Lord Alderaan 16:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
It would be good if the template had a section for the Society to show which members make what, this would help them improve their production?--CheesePlant 12:19, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
The template is just there to manage the namespace by providing a similar look and by auto-categorization. A society is pretty much free to add such information in the article if they find it necessary. The original intention of the Society namespace is to provide a collection of Societies and information about them while simultaneous allow them to promote themselves a bit. It isn't intended as a tool for managing their Society in any way. In fact we have a page with information about where they might find such services: Societies_utilities. --Lord Alderaan 15:16, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
