We would like to get our Ship information back up to date! There is no way to extract this data from the game in any way and there is no chance of being able to do this in the foreseeable future. So we depend on YOU to keep this up to date. :)
If you have one or two minutes to spare please take a ship from the List of Outdated Articles. Fortunately they all start with a ' and thus they are all conveniently listed first. Compare all the info in the article with the ships details in-game by pressing F1 (all ships are listed under the Ship Deeds). The OS speed (osspeed field) and Speed Circle (fields upwind up to windimage) cannot be found there so just ignore those if you want.
Then edit the article and change any incorrect values and change the version field to 2.15.46.0.
More information about the values used in the template can be found in the Template:Infobox_Ship description.
If you have any questions feel free to ask them here.
Thanks in advanced to all who decide to help out. --Lord Alderaan 09:41, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Do you have to create the deed ship before seeing the required information? CheesePlant 22:22, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- nope, the data is all available in the ingame help as detailed above (with the exception of OS-Speed and the Wind Image). Hit F1, click on Ship Deeds, and from there on the ship you want to check --Ailar 06:23, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Indeed. All the info can be found in F1 and then choose the Ship Deeds category. Also the Ship OS speed and wind circle can not be found in the doc info but it CAN be updated through the bot using this info and I'll make a run for this soon. Any help updating some of the ships is appreciated. A single person would take a few days to update all the ships so I'm hoping a bunch of people can do a few ships over a few days. --Lord Alderaan 13:40, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
I've started adding descriptions to the outdated ships, its the most I can do as I don't know any tactics etc. I hope it helps! CheesePlant 21:12, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
