Mission Notes
At the start of the mission, you are joined by three British ships and six French ships, all of which are friendly. The French capital ship is level 15, and the rest of the ships besides your own are level 12-14. Approach the capital ship and talk to it to board it.
On board the ship, meet with the French officer to discuss the prisoner exchange. He says that the prisoner that you wish to trade for was shot weeks ago, and uses the exchange as an excuse to ambush you. Kill him and a few other French troops aboard the ship, then deboard to get back to your ship.
Once on your ship, the six French ships are all hostile. All but the capital ship will use sail-damaging shot, as do your allies. The enemy ships move very slowly even at full sails, so they're mostly waiting to be sunk or boarded, and not that big of a threat, even though you are outnumbered. The enemy ships will not give up until sunk or boarded. Destroy them all to complete the mission.
