Naming?[]
I'm looking at the map and updating the city resources. Should things really be Fertile Soil (Sugar) instead of Sugar, Abundant Game instead of Game, ...? Are people really going to look for the extra (Fertile Soil, Abundant) and not go straight to the resource (Sugar, Game)? ---Drakenya 16:37, 27 July 2007 (CEST)
- I think we should use the ingame names. When people will search for 'Sugar', they wil definately find 'Fertile Soil (Sugar)'. Sugar itself is an item too as far as I know. --Mopster 17:59, 27 July 2007 (CEST)
- I've actually taken a look thou the resources and been pondering how to deal with naming. If you take a look at my Userpage, you'll see how I've set about naming things. For such city resource as Limestone, just link to Limestone. The limestone page will contain both port resource info and the resource info itself. Reasoning being is that the resource contain very little details at the moment and I'm trying to improve the search ability a little. (They get limestone if they search limestone, or the other way of doing it is having a page with link to the different limestone but I felt the level of info was too small to merit this method) --AdTheRat 10:50, 30 July 2007 (CEST)
Page Name?[]
why is this paged named "City Resources" rather than "Resources"? I don't think I've ever seen the term "City" used anywhere in-game, and when I'm looking for this page I go to the Economy page, then look under "R" for "Resources". Taralin Snowden 13:40, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
