That merchant ship you saved has had interesting news: they say they have sighted the missing Magistrate's ship! The Deputy Magistrate is doubtful, but suggests to send out a convoy as bait to hopefully draw out whoever captured his boss.

Mission Notes

A massive sea battle against a fleet of pirate ships that are all within a level range of approximately 16-19. You will be supported by half a dozen NPC ships, three of which are the convoy ships which have to survive. So you should draw as much agro as possible, as quickly as possible - especially since none of your escortees seem very hesitant to jump right into the middle of the fray.

Note about the Pirate version

  • As of, the pirate version is somewhat different: you do not have six NPC allies (with three being convoy ships), but only two, with one of them being a convoy ship which has to survive. And that single ship is a 'Halifax' Schooner with a (Fallback) rating. This makes the mission objective practically unachievable in any ship that's even close to the mission level and is very probably a bug (it has been reported).
