Daniel Aikens in Morgan's Bluff has Brethren business to discuss with you again.
Word has come down from Kidd himself: the Brethren are finally moving against the French. You are to sail with three of your fellow captains to Biloxi and capture a Fort there.
As mentioned in the mission briefing, you will have three NPC allies with you, all level 17 in a 'Lexington' Brig. The fort will be guarded by three ships, all between the levels 17 and 20. Since you will be engaging them well outside the fort's gun range, taking them out first shouldn't be a big problem. And this being a boarding mission, your allies are bringing anti-sail shot, so they will disable the enemies for you and make it easy for you to board them too (even though it's not really necessary. But then the drawback of your allies only going for their sails is that you'd have to do most of the structure damage yourself if you wanted to sink them, drawing out the combat considerably).
Once the guards are removed, you can go after the fort. Don't count on your allies being any help against it though - they'll do their best to make sure the fort can't sail away, but the damage they'll deal to the crew will be negligible. But a few broadsides with anti-personnel shot is all it takes to bring it down to an easily manageable level, at which point you can board it and finish the mission. Return to Daniel Aikens to claim your reward.
- The fort must not be destroyed
- Defeat the fort in boarding combat
The costume reward item is an ammunition belt with a big skull and crossbones buckle.
